Design By Humans Contests

Hey guys, just a heads up on a contest I thought you’d be interested in.

They’re called “Facebook Challenges” by DBH. New contests run every 2 weeks or so.

Design a poster for the event!

Posters must have:

The event date and time (March 18th, 6:00pm-9:30pm)
A description about the event (First hour is a student design gallery. 7pm the stand up show begins)
Include the location (Pepsi Forum)
The stand up show is hosted by Jonathan Desrosiers, and Derek Furtado, John Porch, Kelly Morse, and Mike Murray will be performing.
Tickets are just $5!
Raffle tickets will be sold at the door for some great prizes.

Second Annual Comedy For A Cure

Last year, we held a fundraiser called Comedy For A Cure during which we raised over $300 for our Relay For Life team. It was a great time, and everyone is asking about it again this year. So it is back by popular demand.

2010 Calendar Voting

So a few weeks ago we put up some student work in the form of 2010 calendar posters. They featured 100% hand drawn works of students at Johnson & Wales Professor Karyn Jimenez’s Fundamentals in Drawing class. The time has come to vote.

Student Member’s Logo Chosen For JWU’s 2010 Relay For Life
